Detail View Common Functions

Overview

If you select a Group, you will be directed to the Group detail page.

The Group detail page will list the basic group information, such as the group name, group start & end dates, and the members of the group. There is also a checkbox to activate, or inactivate the selected group.

Area Privileges Tab

The Area Privileges Tab shows a complete listing of all the permissions that the selected group holds.

The privileges permissions list is broken out in the following categories.

  • None means the selected group has no permission for the selected category.

  • Read means the selected group can read only for the selected category.

  • Create means the selected group can create, but not delete or modify an existing record for the category.

  • Modify means the selected group can create a new record, or modify an existing record for the category.

  • Delete means the selected group has all permissions for the selected category.

Field Privileges

Field Privileges are a listing of additional privileges that the selected group has, and their permission level.

Special Privileges

Special Privileges are a listing of all of the additional special privileges that the selected group is allowed to have access to.

The Verb column is a description of what the selected group has the ability to do to the object that is being enabled.
