Series List View

Overview

The list view for the Show Series module allows you to see and filter the Show Series records in your database. You also can print reports relevant to the particular Series and perform other functions from the list view. This page will review all those options.

Many of the basic features of our list views for any module are the same. Please take a look at this article for an overview.

Find Series

As with all modules there are several ways to find the records you need. Each of those is listed here.

In Show Series, the search bar will search the following fields.

  • Series Number

  • Series Name

Creating and Adding Shows to a New Series

Step One: Creating a New Series

To create a new Series, select “Show Series” from the Navigation Palette, then click “Add” from the taskbar:

In the prompt, you’ll be able to give your new Series a name, and have the option to access the functions displayed below:

Click the green checkmark in the bottom right corner of the window to save your New Series.

Step Two: Adding Shows to a New Series

Begin by selecting “Shows” from the Navigation Palette, and choosing your desired show from the list:

In the next window, you’ll want to open the drop-down menu labeled “Show Series” and select the title of the new Series that you created:

Again, click the green checkmark to save your changes, and head back to the Show Series window.

Open your new Series, and you should find that your show has been added to the list of included shows:

Requiring Entry to All Shows of a Series

To require that exhibitors enter all shows of a particular series, users should check the “Require All Shows” box in the Series record.

In the respective box, users can input a message to appear to users when entering any of the shows included in the series.
